I don't regret buying this peeler as it was only 6 dollars or so, however I I think the gool ol' fashion style citrus peeler is much more effective and just as easy to use.The cutting point on this peeler on this is very small, and does not do a good job of completely cutting the pith and rind. I also really didn't find rotating a piece of citrus in one hand while keeping it compressed just right against the other with the peeler any easier, and maybe a tad more difficult than a "normal" peeler.
One positive is that it is very safe and there is no chance of slipping.I have an orange peeler like this that I've had for several years. This sytle of orange peeler is rounded so that it is comfortable to use no matter how tough the skin is.
When I started searching for one to leave at work, I was surprised that I couldn't find one anywhere. Finally I searched on Amazon and am very happy with it.

I had one of the stick style citris peelers (with the cutting blade at the edge). The thin, plastic cutting edge became loose and doesn't work well anymore. This is more solidly built and has not deformed in the 6 months I have owned it. I am purchasing a second one simply to have it in the office.Read Best Reviews of Evriholder Large Citrus Peeler, Colors may vary Here
Oranges are hard to peel. This helps. It's not perfect, but adequate for the price. Until they perfect a perfectly peelable orange, this does the best it can.Want Evriholder Large Citrus Peeler, Colors may vary Discount?
