Quirky Mocubo Bamboo Cutting Board

I'm not sure why this item is listed under Toys and Games, or where the Mocubo name comes from, but the pictures and item description are for the bamboo cutting board with plastic drawers that is made by Quirky. It also retails in the 30-40 range, so the current price is a little screwy too.

On to the actual product this is a very neat cutting board. I'm not an expert on these things, but something about the way the bamboo and knife interact seems to give me a cleaner cut with less pulling. It just feels right for cutting, and looks nice too. The three drawers underneath are a neat feature. They're great when you're cooking something that requires several chopped or sliced ingredients and you don't want to waste space on several plates or bowls. It also leaves the main board free for larger ingredients. I love taking everything to the stove on just the one board. The board also works great for serving appetizers like cheeses or meats, where you might want to put different crackers or veggies in the drawers. Cleanup is fairly easy. The drawers can go in the dishwasher, but the board is best hand-washed.

I still use my basic cutting board for simpler tasks, but I love breaking out this Quirky board for more complex tasks and entertaining. If you catch it at a reasonable price, I highly recommend it.

This is a great cutting board and I love it. But I don't see how these people are selling this 110 dollars. Ridiculous! Go to bed bath and beyond and pay 40 dollars for it.
