J.A. Henckels International Everedge Plus 4-Piece Steak Set

I bought these knives in October 2012 and they have begun to rust! They are stamped "stainless steel". I have Ginsu knives that are over 30 years old that don't have a spot of rust on them. I have other Henckels knives that I bought over 10 years ago that are still beautiful. Don't buy these. If I could I would return them for a refund.

I noticed another reviewer said German knives are best. These knives are clearly stamped "made in China."

These are high-quality knives, but I specifically tried to avoid serrated knives, and in the picture they look like they are not. When I got them, they were serrated. The serration is finer than normal, so it doesn't show in the pictures. The description didn't mention serration.

I was disappointed.

I am using it from 6 months and didn't see any issue so far. Having that quality even after 6 months of cutting vegetables is something to boast about.

I bought this set of four to replace three steak knives missing from a larger set.

They're my go-to every day knives for everything, like cutting tomatoes or... cutting more tomatoes.

As for the missing ones, I would not suggest using them as screw drivers, for stabbing metal objects like doors, or who knows what happened to the third one...
