The damascus steel knives offered by The Food Network are amazing. Sharp beyond all belief, each one incorporates features that are a delight to behold. Each knife has grantons (except for the deba), a round handle (much easier on the hand than square handles), and a neoprene grip. The damascus steel is wickidly sharp and the entire knife has excellent balance.I own the santoku, nakiri, deba. and sheep's foot knives (although the sheep's foot is not damascus steel). I heartily endorse these knives and I eagerly await their next release.I love food network products. I trust the name, as it is always great quality. This knife is like a mini-chef knife, and it is extremely sharp (probably the sharpest knife I have ever owned). Everytime I use this knife, I am impressed by the quality. The sharpness is almost scary.
