Kyocera HTNBK scissors sharpener

Kyocera HTNBK scissors sharpenerIt takes more time for some scissors than others. It simply depends upon the condition of the scissors.

I have sharpened all types of scissors with this, it works well. I have had trouble with other sharpeners in holding the angle correctly for the cutting edge of scissors. This simple small gadget does it easily. Kyocera ceramics (I also have several of their kitchen knifes) are much harder than metals and does a nice job sharpening.

I like the small size, it will be easy to store. I am quite happy with this purchase and anticipate using this for a long time.

Furi FUR626 Ozitech Diamond Fingers Pro Knife Sharpener

Furi FUR626 Ozitech Diamond Fingers Pro Knife SharpenerMy wife was given an expensive Furi knife as a gift. I didn't want this to be relegated to the bottom of the kitchen odd-and-ends drawer because I couldn't sharpen it properly. I have (or had) number of different sharpeners, all useless or difficult to use: tungsten carbide pull-through, traditional steel, can-opener &c. So I got the Ozitech because it's Furi's own sharpener.

It's brilliant and easy to use. Not only does it keep the Furi in good shape it did a terrific sharpening job on a lot of other knives I haven't used for years. A quality Victorinox boning knife is now razor-sharp and a pleasure to use. I resurrected a couple of cheap-and-nasty stainless steel Chinese knifes even they are now useable. We tried the tomato test with the cheap carving knife just pressed it flat. Ten strokes through the Ozitech and it slices it neatly and easily, and I went to on to carve the roast lamb with it later that evening. It might not hold an edge but with the Ozitech it's quickly restored with 3 or 4 strokes.

The Ozitech isn't in the bottom drawer. It sits next to the knife block on the bench ready to be used when required.

Tried this on my favorite but often dull chefs knife and after 4-6 strokes was very very sharp. Works great as promised. casing cheap so not sure how long that will last or if it will hamper it's operation. compact, stores well, would be great for motor home or other small kitchen. For $29, makes me wonder what the $99 version does that Amazon also carries. knocked a star off for the cheap plastic case.

Easy to use and it works as advertised.

I had one really dull knife and I did 6 swipes through the thing as suggested. Didn't do much. I thought the gizmo might not be any good or at least not up to this particular task . Another 10 swipes and this knife is sharp as the deuce.

I'm pleased. Beats trying to get the angle right on a steel or living with dull knives.

You can see the diamond pieces and really feel them sharpening as you pull the knife through the fingers. An ingenious device.

They give you ample warning, but be careful opening the thing. It's plastic and you can break it in an instant if you try to force it the wrong way.

I bought this knife sharpener because I was tired of knives that would not cut & the vender I brought it from, The Handy House, told me that it worked and I had bought things from her before on her word. And it works. My knifes are old & dull. A few swips through the sharpener blade & I had a brand new knife & the price is also good.

This sharpener is a God-send. Trying to sharpen knives is always a pain. There is a real art to doing that and I am definitely challenged in that respect. Using a stone is really hard to learn but just pop this open and away you go!

The only issue I have is the cheapie clips on the side that you have to pop open to open the pack. Why use such flimsy plastic that will eventually crack instead of some sort of a hinge?

Wolfgang Puck 15 Piece Professional Quality Cutlery Set

Wolfgang Puck 15 Piece Professional Quality Cutlery SetThis knife set is, by far, the best set I have used to date. They rival Viking, Trizor and Wusthof-Trident knives. Proper sharpening is key and do not place them in the dishwasher! The heat will damage the handles.

I have a very similar set of knifes to these (with less pieces, but same knifes). I just want to comment on some of the reviews I read so far.

1. These are high carbon steel knifes! They are not stainless steel! Meaning they will rust if you let water sit on them for a while. High carbon steel is much harder than stainless steel, but at the cost of being prone to rust. So if you simply cannot keep you knifes dry after each use, then do not buy high carbon steel knifes, because they will all rust(even the expensive ones)! Don't blame wolfgang puck, because i am sure the instruction booklet mentioned not using the dish washer with these sets(mine did), and too keep them as dry as possible!

2. Someone also mentioned that these knifes are not sharp. I don't quite understand that at all. These knifes were plenty sharp for me. I manage to cut myself easily on one, when I was cleaning it. They cut trough everything I throw at them. Now granted, I have never purchase a set of really expensive knifes, and maybe I just don't know how sharp expensive "sharp" knifes are, but these were wayyyy sharper than the cheap knifes I replaced them with.

3. Someone mentioned that they broke many blades in a short period of time, really? Because the chef knife blade is about 3 mm thick at the base, and I just don't see how you can break the blade under normal use. Maybe if you were using these as utility knifes in a work shop and you took a hammer to the back to pound them into something really hard, I can see it breaking. But even then it would be difficult, the blade is really thick, wayyyy thicker than most stamped knifes! Just go measure out 3 mm and you will see what i mean.

Yes, if you were to compare these to knifes that are few hundred dollars, well these are not as good, but at the price i paid for them, I am very happy with them.

These knives are well made. They are very nicely finished and weighted. The knife block is well finished as well. My only complaints are the shears are only useful for cutting meat or poultry (I like to use kitchen shears for opening packages, too) and the blades are not as hard as a high end knife, so they don't hold an edge as long. This is eaily remedied with a knife sharpener. With a few passes of my $11 AccuSharp knife sharpener they are as sharp as any Henckel. All in all, they are a great value at any price below $60.

I bought these knives for my brother and sister in law and they loved them. I visted them and used them myself I liked them so much that I bought a set. A friend recently visited me and used my set and he loved them too now he's going to buy a set! Compared to other knife sets out there these are a fair price and I have been very happy with them. I use them all the time.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Accusharp knife sharpener; while I use the steel on my knives I'm not the greatest pro with it.

Also, folks, keep your knives out of the dishwasher and out of the sink that will keep them sharp and usable for many, many years.

I purchased these knives as a gift for myself, and I am very pleased! These knives are great for every cooking need! I have two set of knives in the kitchen and I will not even look at the other set. I followed the directions and clean them after every use and do not put them in the dishwasher. If some did not follow the instructions that may explain the problems that they encountered.

OXO Good Grips Silicone Cookie Spatula

OXO Good Grips Silicone Cookie Spatula, BlueI love this little spatula. I do not do cookies. I was hoping it would do for turning eggs in a small pan. Oh, yes, and how! It is just great.

I just used this spatula this morning to turn 3 eggs in a very small pan. Since it is small, it can get under the individual egg without disturbing its neighbors. Since it is silicone, the spatula does not stick to the pan or the egg or carry any, what shall I call it, frying pan debris, with it. It works perfectly. I've only broken one egg since I started using it (2 times a week for about 2 months). The handle is short and curved just right for my purposes.

You can see the "base", which is metal, through the silicone. I don't think it will break through, though, as long as you don't leave it resting in a hot pan, maybe not even then. I think it would take a tremendous amount of use for it to wear through. By then one probably needs a new one anyway.

This is a terrific small spatula and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a small compact spatula.

I can't believe I didn't purchase this sooner. I am a lover of gadgets that work well and this is surely one of them. I make a wicked chocolate chip cookie and have been struggling with a full size spatula for such a long time. You know, the ones that you have to navigate into and around the other cookies, while trying not to mash the others set around the one you are trying to get off. This is just the handiest little spatula. Perfect for the job of getting under small pastries or cookies. Oxo did a nice job on this tool. A definite plus in the kitchen of any cookie maker.

Not sure why they call this a "cookie" turner. They should call it the perfect little turner works perfectly for eggs, and any other food you want to turn or stir in a little pan. LOVE IT. So happy I got this little guy.

I would've given this low stars as a spatula/turner. Too small, even for eggs. Too flimsy for me. Tried it a couple of times and then it just sat there unused. ****BUT**** I needed a rubber scraper in a hurry and they were all in the sink while this was hanging on a utensil hook so I grabbed it and -oh my! It is the *****BEST***** scraper!! It scrapes a bowl or pan clean. Perfectly CLEAN!!! (Assuming the pan has soft stuff in it; in my case it was an eggy casserole kind of thing I needed to scrape out of a pan quick before the egg overcooked.) I've hated the thick-edged silicone scrapers that are all I could find in recent years. But now that I know *this* baby works so well as a scraper, I'm buying a couple more and the all the thick-edged scrapers are going to get exiled the back of the junk drawer.

Want OXO Good Grips Silicone Cookie Spatula Discount?

For the price, you can't complain. The spatula appears to be durable, but we've only had it for a couple of months.

My only complaint is that the handle isn't silicone (nor material that can handle frying pan temps, like metal), as it melts when it comes in contact with the edge of the pan. But, by factoring in the price, I'm okay with it but gave it only 4 stars.

Wsthof Classic 8-Piece Knife Set in Block

Wsthof Classic 8-Piece Knife Set in BlockI recently became a homeowner and decided a "decent" set of knives was needed. I'm no chef, so I never really tried good knives--old cheap ones were what was available at the places I lived and that's what I used. Now, I can't imagine trying to cook and not using good steal like this! They feel great in my hand and I never struggle to accomplish any task in the kitchen.

Buying advice: Amazon sells this set for $299 like everybody else. You can get them for that price almost anywhere. So use a coupon and get a discount from the $299 price elsewhere. I used a 20% off coupon at Bed, Bath & Beyond and ended up getting this great set for $240! I like Amazon but not enough to give them $60 for nothing.

EDIT, Jan. 3, 2011: 6 years later, now that this is $350, I would say that after 6 years of use, I am still totally satisfied and would not hesitate to spend $350 to get this today. Although I may upgrade eventually, I have no reason to think these knives won't last a lifetime.

Until you cut with a Wusthof knife, you cannot comprehend what knives are supposed to perform like. Essentially, these are profoundly heavy straight edge razor blades. Everything they go through melts like butter. Chopping vegetables with them is actually a soothing, zen like experience. I've tried other knives, but none have come close to the precision of Wusthof. The way they feel in your hands, their weight, their amazing balance, is really the mark of flawless German engineering. Think driving a beat up Chevy on a gravel road versus driving a brand new Benz on the autobahn. Get them. Have them professionally sharpened once a year. I guarantee you, if your home goes up in flames, you'll run back in to get them.

Wusthof Gourmet 18-Piece Knife Set with Storage Block

Wusthof Gourmet 18-Piece Knife Set with Storage BlockIf you're willing to pay this kind of money, you expect great knives. These won't disappoint. They did feel a little light at first, but after using them a few weeks it feels light, but solid and well balanced. The edges are phenomenal if you're upgrading from a cheap set.

Be sure to take good care of them, handwash only! And be sure to dry immediately. Learn how to properly use the steel, and these will last you a lifetime!

Paying for the more expensive sets (Classic line) isn't worth it in my opinion. The knives feel about the same, but the Classic line is supposedly made with higher quality metal and is "hand-forged." But "hand-forged" really means that there's some guy that tells a machine to forge it. Wusthof employees certainly aren't over in Solingen with a hammer and tongs over the anvil!

If you can afford these knives, it's not a purchase you will regret. There are definitely more knives than I need, but I will never wish I had just bought the next set up.

In the one month I have owned these knives, I have to say, they are truly a well-balanced, sharp looking, and sharp cutting set of knives. These knives replaced my stainless steel every day name brand knives and they have by far out performed the US made knives. I highly recommend these knives.

Working in a restaurant every day for the last 15 years you get accustomed to using professional grade equipment. It does definitely spoil you in terms of cooking in the kitchen. That being said the knives that I use in my home need to be on that level. Enter The Wusthoff Gourmet series. These knives are realistically in the middle of the wusthoff spectrum. They are by no means their top of the line offerings, but not an entry level option either. The set is very utilitarian and you will find knives for several different uses. This will come in handy during many different types of meal preparations. As far as the knives themselves they are a step below the wusthoff classic series which are truly great knives for the money, however they are a bit expensive. In all reality the only difference is that the classic line is hand forged (meaning someone actually shaped, balanced, and worked the metal by hand) and the gourmet line is machine forged. Unless you are in the kitchen all day long using these knives you won't truly notice that much of a difference between the two styles, aside from the classics will have a little better balance in the hand and will be a touch heavier. However the feel of the Gourmets will be much more consistent from knife to knife due to machining. The blades are very sharp, cut very well right out of the box, and the knives as a whole are very well made. While the knives might be a bit light in the hand to me, some people prefer this. I am used to a bit heavier blade in the restaurant. With that being said that is really the only negative for me in this set. All the knives do what they are supposed to, react very well to the sharpening steel that is included, and will honestly be a great home use knife set for many years to come with proper care. One side note is that Wusthoff does recommend hand washing these knives vs. putting them in the dishwasher. If you are familiar with higher end knives that is a normal thing and preserves your knives for the long haul. If you want something you can toss in the dishwasher you probably want to look at a much more inexpensive set and plan on replacing them every year or two. All in all these knives are a great value and will give you great cutting edges and cutting enjoyment for quite some time.

Sushi Knife

Sushi KnifeOne of the best Knives ever. Very Cheap, cost wise but a great knife. Easy to sharpen using a steel and it holds it edge. I bought my first knife in Hawaii at a small local market. Gourmet Ridge "Vegetable Knife" 8"

Gourmet Ridge 'Vegetable Knife' 8'handle too short

ridge is for right handed people not left

okay knife but nothing special still prefer my old henckel 8 inch chef

First Wusthof I ever bought, last one I'll ever buy. I tried it once and sent it back. I guess I should've assumed that ridge was only on the right side and since I am left handed, it was useless. It's a great design, that little ridge to "push" food away when slicing but it's useable with the right hand only.

Also, the cut-outs... very rough edges which means the food I was cutting got caught in there. And finally for the money I paid, it felt very cheap. Too light, uncomfortable in the hand due to a plastic handle with a seam that was noticeably felt in the hand, just all around huge disappointment.

The seller was very gracious and gave me a full refund when I returned the knife. Although I didn't like the knife, I would absolutely purchase from the seller, Cutlery and More again. Seller packaged item very well and shipped to me very quickly.

Thank you, Cutlery and More you are great :)

The rib is only on one side so if you are left handed it might not work. But I find it very effective and no more swiping my knife across the top edge of the pan or pot to clean it off.

Solidly constructed knife, obviously a hallmark of the Wusthof brand. Lighter than some of the other Wusthofs I've used as I normally work with lighter Globals this was a welcomed surprise. This has been my work knife for the past few weeks and I don't have too many complaints about it save for the fact that the manner in which I often cut (that is, with a "claw" like grip on some foods that are harder to stabilize) causes the holes in this knife to chafe the middle part of my middle finger (which I use as a sort of guide when chopping/slicing).

Also, and this is a minor thing not really affecting the utility of the knife, but after only about 2 months of use the red "W" brand on the handle/grip of the knife has totally rubbed off. It's just a little silver square now. Thankfully, the blade is branded but still. Slightly sucky.

Overall, I'm not "wowed" by this knife, but cannot find any significant defects either. The special design of this blade is fairly successful at what it claims to do.

This is a very good knife to slice sticky vegetables or fruits like potatoes, apples etc. as they separate very easy from the knife surface.

It s not good to fine slice onions using classic techniques.

As I am right-handed this knife is OK for me but it will nor work for left-handed persons. This is the reason of the three stars

Works great for Non-stick bakeware. The handle is a little longer than I'd like, afraid it will break from pressure as cutting/slicing. Just hold the slicer/knife closer to the base when using. This may prevent breakage. Otherwise it cuts great without marring my nonstick cookware :)

Shun Classic 3-1/2-Inch Straight Vegetable Knife

Shun Classic 3-1/2-Inch Straight Vegetable KnifeThis is my new favorite paring knife. I lived in Germany a while back and brought home a handful of kitchen knives from various manufacturers. Until now, a couple of those German knives were among my favorite kitchen tools. However, last week I sliced up some mangoes, bananas, and limes with this little Shun paring knife, and I have already given away some of my old German knives. This Shun knife cuts quickly and cleanly, and the rounded handle was very comfortable to hold in comparison to the rectangular handle on some other knives.

I bought the larger chef knife for my mother in-law last year. This year I bought her the pairing knife and went ahead and bought one for my mother and myself. This knife is razor sharp. It easily cuts through paper and seems to hold an edge fairly well. I am not sure how well it will resharpen, but I think the blade will do well on my sharpmaker. I think I will start to add a few more shun blades to my kitchen knife collection. I would highly recommend this series of knives.

We just added this little vegetable knife to our shun block it's a perfect addition! As per usual, this Shun product is sturdy, sharp and truly beautiful. The paring knife has always been our favorite "go-to" knife in the block, and with all of the action that one sees, we felt that the straight blade vegetable knife would complement our set well. It's great for quick prep of even the toughest veggies the knife slices and dices a carrot as if it were warm butter. Be super careful with your fingers! As with all knives, Shun products require sharpening occasionally, but we cook nightly and are just at the point where the rest of the set requires attention and it's been 3 years since purchase.

Although these knives are pricey they are sharp, solid and really gorgeous... worth every penny! I can't imagine cooking without my Shun knives!

Read Best Reviews of Shun Classic 3-1/2-Inch Straight Vegetable Knife Here

One reviewer suggests using a "sharpmaker". That could throw away a large part of the reason you pay more for a Shun. The steel has alloys that make it possible to sharpen the edge to 16 degrees and have the edge hold. Most knives are sharpened to around 20 degrees because they are not capable of holding the narrower edge and must be blunter. If you use a standard sharpener with your Shun, you may end up wondering why other people make such a big deal about how sharp a Shun is while yours is not much better than your other knives. Shun makes an electric sharpener and whetstones. There is a discounted sharpening service through kershawknives.com for Shun owners. If you use a local knife sharpening service, make certain they understand proper angles (bevel).

Boker Australian Steak Knife

Boker Australian Steak KnifeI wanted to replace an aging set of steak knives with worn handles with something better. I've never been partial to serrated-edge blades for cutting (actually, sawing and tearing) good steaks or meat, and I wanted steak knives with no-maintenance handles and good-quality steel that could be sharpened to a fine cutting edge.

The Boker Australian Steak Knife met all my needs. I found the knife usably sharp right out of the box, though I touched mine up on a diamond hone. The Australian-style blade with the wide belly looks a little different to USA users, but you quickly appreciate its effectiveness. The blade length of 5" is just right. These knives work well on a variety of meats not just thick steaks.

Boker has these made of 440 steel at the Arbolito plant in Argentina. My set was well-finished, a full tang, close-fitting riveted handles, and no rough spots. The handles will never dry out or require special care. Try these and impress your guests.

I love this knife and it's wicked sharp, the price was very good. I would buy another if I find it at the same low price but it's not available anymore at the online outlet where I first purchased it and is priced much higher elsewhere.

Wusthof Gourmet 2-Piece Cutlery Utility Set

Wusthof Gourmet 2-Piece Cutlery Utility SetThe picture shows the set with the markings Solingen Germany on the knife and scissor blades. My set is missing those markings. There are no markings anywhere on the knife or scissors that indicate where they are made. The box is missing that information, as well.

The knife is also missing the geometric design to the right of the blade markings.

The sticker on the handle has sharp square corners, while the picture on the Wusthof site shows a red square with rounded corners.

This makes me concerned that they are no longer made in Germany.

The knife did not pass the newspaper test when new, and cannot be sharpened to pass the newspaper test. It does not hold an edge as well as my older (German) Wusthofs.

There are at least three versions of this knife, all with the same number. Two say Solingen Germany, but are marked a little differently. They appear to come from two different factories. And the one with no country marking at all.

Despite their site's claim "Made in Germany", Wusthof does admit that "they are really busy and have to outsource", but will not tell what country. Why would that be? And, of course, they mumble the usual evasive corporate drivel about quality control, specifications, standards, etc.

Interestingly, the prices are the same. It is up to the buyer to select the quality or country of origin he desires.

The scissors seem to cut OK, but we don't have very high standards for our general use kitchen scissors. They have metal teeth in the handles for gripping stubborn caps. The teeth are horribly out of alignment. They do not meet together, but on two different planes, about 3/16" apart. And the scissors are fairly flexible, owing to their light construction. This means that the harder you squeeze, the more it twists your thumb and fingers as you attempt to open a stubborn cap.

My advice is to buy only German Wusthof at the regular price, or expect a substantial price reduction for the one produced in the secret country. It is very shabby of a formerly great company to charge just as much for a knife produced at a much lower cost.

Have used the knife and scissors for several months now. both performing and holding up very well. hand-washing only, by choice. the picture shows a 4060/10 cm paring knife, but what comes is a 4022/8 cm paring knife. like i said, i like the 4022 just fine, but you are not getting what you think you are. the 4022 sells for 12.95 on amazon and the 4060 for 18.95. not that big a deal, but worth considering. the scissors are th 5888, as advertised.

Wanted a new pair of kitchen shears, and have had good luck with Wusthof in the past. Well the scissors are great, very sharp, crisp cutting, and when fully opened, the two sides come apart for easy cleaning every time.

As an added bonus, the small knife,(a touch smaller then average paring knife)if a great addition to our set too! Very sharp, feels great in the hand, and is perfect for quick small jobs such as dicing ham for omlettes, cutting cherry tomatoes, etc..

Both pieces are top notch for the price, and were well received as a gift by my wife, from me!

The scissors are functional and suitable for light-duty work, though the handles feel a little awkward, and I'm not sure these scissors would be up to serious dissection of fowl or anything like that. The knife is an unexpectedly nice throw-in: it holds a sharp edge and has been surprisingly useful. If I'd paid $52 (the putative list price) I'd feel kind of disappointed, but for $20 I say fine.

I needed a good pair of kitchen scissors. Two piece design for cleaning was a must. The scissors have worked better than expected. Sharp and sturdy. Easy to clean too.

The knife was a bonus, and we enjoy using it regularly.

Laguiole Stainless Steel Set of 6 Steak Knives

Laguiole Set of 6 Steak Knives - S/S & Pakka Wood HandlesThis whole Laguiole thing is tough to decyper because the vendors just can't say "made in china" in the product details. This one is made in China and simply uses Laguiole and the French Connection to suggest its French made. If that isn't important to you then read on.

Build quality looked very nice with the steel appearing to be stainless. Full tang and nice wood like appearing handles.

I returned it because I thought I was getting something made in Europe. Now I know that for the real stuff, I'll have to pay about twice the cost. Is it worth it? You decide but if I'm going to be using it on my food, I want to be sure it's what it says it is and well made. This stuff, looks nice but the vendor isn't very confident otherwise they would have said "made in china".

While these are gorgeous in appearance (we purchased them as a wedding gift) they are not authentic Laguiole knives, rather a licensed product bearing the Laguiole name. We were disappointed as we have the authentic knives and love them largely because purs are hand made in the town Laguiole, France. Sadly, these are an imposter.

"la Guiole" was never trademarked, so rather than hand-making these in France, this company machine-makes them in China. Sure, they're cheaper, but once I realized this, it made the thought of using them a dull experience. One of the handles was a trifle loose, and rather than thinking of a French knife-maker a trifle asleep at his bench while making it, I think of lax machine inspection in a big plant. Bummer. I'm returning these, will whet my appetite for the real thing, which will be more expensive, but give a decade of real satisfaction. It's worth it to pay a craftsman, I think.

Beautiful knives! Finally found some nice serrated Laguiole steak knives and the price is very reasonable in my opinion. The pakka wood looks great and I would highly recommend these knives! I do find that the unique serration pattern adds to the overall appearance, so keep that in mind if buying a Laguiole with a straight edge. The packaging is elegant and just adds to the overall image. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

The knives were much handsomer than the web page showed. The knives are very sharp and the detail is lovely. The box they came in provides nice storage.

Food Network 4 1/2 Inch Deba Knife

Food Network 4 1/2 Inch Deba KnifeThe damascus steel knives offered by The Food Network are amazing. Sharp beyond all belief, each one incorporates features that are a delight to behold. Each knife has grantons (except for the deba), a round handle (much easier on the hand than square handles), and a neoprene grip. The damascus steel is wickidly sharp and the entire knife has excellent balance.

I own the santoku, nakiri, deba. and sheep's foot knives (although the sheep's foot is not damascus steel). I heartily endorse these knives and I eagerly await their next release.

I love food network products. I trust the name, as it is always great quality. This knife is like a mini-chef knife, and it is extremely sharp (probably the sharpest knife I have ever owned). Everytime I use this knife, I am impressed by the quality. The sharpness is almost scary.

Grande Epicure Polypropylene 10 by 13-1/2 by 8-1/2mm Utility Board

Grande Epicure M6502108 Polypropylene 10 by 13-1/2 by 8-1/2mm Utility Board, RedWe use different cutting boards for different food items to prevent cross contamination. Red is for red meat. We picked this cutting board because it had ridges on the side, which is great for catching juices from the meat. The ridges are helpful, but we were hoping they were a little wider and deeper. We still get overflow from the meat and some spillage onto the counter. It may be better for vegetables or poultry, but we will not buy again for red meat.

Use this all the time great color looks good in our kitchen. It's so nice, I keep it out on our counter all the time.

This board is too cute. I love using it and it's easy to clean. My only complaint is that the material is a bit soft, which means you will leave slice marks in it. Other then that, it's great.

The cutting board is nice and rigid. The color is true to the picture. Seems to have held up well against a brand new set of knives. I've had the cutting board for about a month and it's always my go-to.

Bought this for my coworker. She has a red theme in her kitchen and didn't have a cutting board. It seems pretty sturdy.
