My expectations weren't high and since I don't cook, basic cutlery is fine by me. If you want any quality cutlery, I definitely don't suggest it. The cutting board was dried up and therefore cracked but, again, since I don't cook I don't really use it. There's three or four key knives that I use that make this worth the price. But, if I had done more research, I probably would have spent a couple more dollars on something that provided me a knife block instead of the crappy cutting board.
