TSM Products 61232 No. 32 Manual Meat Grinder

The grinder works great but only came with one knife. It was advertised to come with two. Other plates for the same size dod not fit snug--wobble a bit--so use the plate it came with. Otherwise, it works great.

I got this grinder a month or so ago and have used it to grind 3 deer so far. It grinds of a lot of meat fast (for a hand cranked grinder). It will even grind meat mixed with a lot of sinew, which we like to feed to our dogs, but it gets a bit hard to crank with all the sinew. It's otherwise easy to use. As for other reviews, I have no reason to believe the grinder is chrome plated cast iron as opposed to stainless steel. I'm not going to saw it in half to find out, but there's no indication that it's anything other than what's advertised. It didn't come with any paperwork, as mentioned by someone else, but that's not a problem for me. Putting it together is self-explanatory. You can download instructions for cleaning and maintaining on the The Sausage Maker's website. Basically, you hand wash all parts with warm water and detergent to remove the factory lubricant prior to using the first time. Then hand wash after each use. Plates are not dishwasher safe. I assume the other parts aren't, either. The mfr also recommends using a food grade silicone lubricant after each washing, which I haven't done and probably won't do, since I'd rather not eat silicone lubricant.

Product received did not match the description so i was disappointed. I did a lot of research to find this and was so happy that it included everything i needed and at a good price. Unfortunately, the grinder came with only one cutting plate but the product description said it included 2. Also, it did not include any paper work...no assembly, care instructions...no product/manufacturer info. The actual grinder looks pretty good...we'll see!

I am not sure this is Stainless Steel

I think it might be chrome-plated cast iron. I paid more thinking this #32 meat grinder was made from stainless steel.
