Being Dutch and having had to slice a lot of cheese in my life, I can assure you this is really the best cheese slicer you can get! Forget everything you can buy in special stores or whatsoever, this is a non-stick slicer which is capable of slicing through young cheeses without trouble (and that is very hard) also the thickness of the slices is very satisfying, not to thick and not to thin, just right. So the price might look high but it is very well worth it! Oh and it also survives the dishwasher.
