I have been looking for a good, reasonably priced carbon steel (non-stainless) filet knife for a long time. This is a great knife. I had it field tested by a friend of mine who has filleted thousands of fish and he rated the knife as "top-notch". I also have skinned my share of fish and also rate the knife as excellent. The knife performs as advertized and has all the advantages of carbon steel over stainless. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone.Great knife.
