This oyster knife is awful. So dull it can't open anything. I can't imagine why anyone would design such a piece of garbage. I bought it because, to the eye, it looked like it might work. Product fail. It doesn't work. I got rid of mine immediately. Couldn't even think of an alternate use for the junk.

I do recommend Dexter-Russell 2-3/4-Inch Oyster Knife, Carbon Steel and Beechwood. Works wonderfully.
