Arcos 6-Inch 150 mm 2900 Range Chef's Knife, Red

I got this knife for my young son, who likes to help in the kitchen but isn't big enough to wield our 8" chef's knife yet. I have actually had trouble teaching him to use the rocking, slicing motion with it because it's so sharp it STICKS in the polyethylene cutting board. The handle is big and a little rough-textured, so the grip is good even if your hands are wet. The blade is thin without feeling at all flimsy, and wonderfully, wickedly sharp. My son occasionally catches me using it when he's not helping me and tells me not to use HIS knife.
