We have a hog roast every year and this year I bought 4 knives for the guys that butcher the hog, these knives worked GREAT for carving the hog. The only thing that I had worries about were that when I ordered it I didn't think 10 inches was that large but once you get a 10 inch butcher knife in your hand you realize that this knife is huge. It isn't really anything practical for everyday kitchen tasks but I love having mine in the kitchen because when you need it: its the best tool for the job. The price for the quality and size is very acceptable. Overall, I would buy it again!!!
