We've been purchasing Wusthof Classic knives for over 30 years. They are well made, properly weighted and hold an edge nicely. This purchase was for our adult daughter. The knife looks and functions exactly like the one we've owned since we've been married.It is nice to find products that haven't lost their quality over the years. We highly recommend the Whusthof Classic line but beware Wusthof now makes a less expensive line, the Gourmet series. We were disappointed in how they performed as compared to the Classic knives.
