Got invaded again last week, was sure glad to have this little baby hanging over the fireplace when it happened. I've never had an easier time dealing with cavalry: even if you don't knock the rider right out of his saddle, his mount won't exactly be in any condition to let him go around for another charge, if you know what I mean. Definitely worth the extra fifty bucks for those last couple of inches on the blade the added weight really improves the balance of this already-excellent polearm. Would definitely be interested in purchasing 10 or 12-foot models if they became available.Cons: None, although the addition of a spear point or maybe a billhook or two would make it a lot easier to snag the more nimble riders (like those pesky mounted archers!)
