European Style 6 Piece Steak Knife Set in Wood Box

First off, I like this knife set. What kind of quality would you expect at this price? Exactly!

I took some close-up pictures. I hope you can see the detail, so judge for yourselves if this set is for you.

The weight of the knives is heavy and the handles are skinny and smooth. The shaft runs through the length of the knife. The handles are two metal halves riveted together. NOTE: The knife shaft and the handle halves are not precise. So you will feel the blade shaft outside of the handles in places.

Nice knives made in China. Not Germany. The wood box is nice, but mine came in broken, so I knocked off one star.

This is a very nice set. Although the knives weren't as heavy as I prefer, the set is nice and seems durable. It was bought as a Christmas gift.

For the money, it doesn't get much better then this. They are serrated, but they cut well. Worth the money till you can get a set of Laguiole knives. :)
