This is the second scraper like this that I've owned. The first lasted for several years of constant use, and finally just wore out. I also put it in the dishwasher all the time, which might have contributed to the rubber wearing out. It works perfectly for scooping anything off a cutting board and into a serving vessel or individual plate. Even slimy things like chopped avocados come off pretty clean without mushing them. Indispensable kitchen tool!
