MY husband's employer held an auction for the annual charity drive. I filled a cotton tote bag with this bread knife, cutting board, honey and gave the winner a choice of home-baked breads, which were delivered a few days later. The item earned a nice bid. The fabric is nice and would have been great for an iron-on logo, which I'll do next year! The b.lade guard makes it perfect for picnics, the knife slices bread rather than crushes it.
I love this knife! It is well balanced and has a wonderful grip. It slices bread perfectly! I have yet to try it with tomatoes, but expect it will be great.
