Wallace Napolean Bee Modern Flatware stainless Steel 45 Piece Set (5020239)

I love all things B's and was excited when this flatware set went on sale. I was hugely dissappointed. The quality is not nearly as nice as pictured and of course the pictures do not show the back of the flatware, that says "Made in China" on every single piece. I returned these the day after I got them because they were just not worth the price, even on sale. If you want cheap silverware you can get it for much less at Bed, Bath & Beyond. This was a total rip-off on a very low quality product.

This silverware looks a little different in person than in the photo, but I still love it. The photo looks like there is a slightly dark outline (more of a patina?) around the bees and details of the flatware, and in person that isn't there, so the flatware is much more shiny looking. But it feels quite heavy and durable, and I love the simplicity of the design. It's easy to go too "cutesy" with insect items, but this definitely doesn't. Very elegant bees!

I was hesitant to purchase such pricey flatware for everyday use, but I love bees and this design is a wonderful compliment to my La Rochere Bee Décor 12 Ounce Glass Set of 6. I am very happy with the set and feel it is worth the price. The pieces feel substantial and well made but not too heavy. I've received many compliments from dinner guests.
