Great peeler and chopper. Exactly what I needed. The knife guard comes off, I didn't use it but it is awfully sharp so maybe I should have left it on! Bought this from a company in England they were great, helpful and fast. Took about 10 days.Many years ago, just after I got married, someone told me that Kitchen Devils are the best and they are! I have been using mine now for more than 25 years and have not been able to replace it (until I found it on Amazon)since it was no longer sold in South Africa. I have been searching the internet for a long time but could not find a seller who would be willing to ship to South Africa and later gave up hope of ever replacing my favourite knife. What a wonderful surprise to find Kitchen Devils on Amazon! I purchased two (just in case my husband might want to hijack one) and am now eagerly awaiting their arrival. I highly recommend this specific knife, it will last much longer than the 10 year guarantee period.
