Oyster and Shellfish Knife - Stainless Steel with Wood Handle

I liked the broader blade and the sharp(ish)edges. Unfortunately, both broke during the first box of oyster. The first one seemed to be an issue with weak wood, where the blade gouged out the wood holding itletting the blade rotate about 90 degrees. I wasn't too concerned, figuring I could shore that up with epoxy or something. So then we were using second one (which still seemed to be the perfect oyster shucker) until the blade snapped clean in two. Seriously? I've been shucking oysters since I was little. Luckily I found the oyster knives my parents had when I was growing up. Twenty years old, and still perfect. These fell way short.

I was able to open 4 oysters and then it broke, the blade literaly broke. good design but bad product. Who knows maybe I just got a bad one.
