Mercer Millenia M22707 7-Inch Santoku Knife

A friend gave me this knife as a gift knowing I enjoy cooking. I liked the weight and grip right away when I first picked it up. I sliced ripe tomatoes thin and quick with ease, green peppers in strips with no crushing. I also made some cinnamon rolls and was surprised when I went to cut the rolled dough that the blade easily cut through the roll without sticking. I usually have to wet and wipe down the blade a number of times when cutting the dough. I would definitely recommend this knife for general kitchen slicing and chopping use.
