As soon as I received this item, I started using it to cut Steak, Potatoes, Carrots and other veggies. I was amazed how little effort was required to slice these. The cuts were so precise that the cut portions stuck to the knife blade, so one has to develop a technique which slighly pushes the cut portion away as the knife descends through the meat or whatever you are cutting. Just be very very careful since this knife has a surgical-quality blade and you want to keep your fingers intact ;-)
