I already had a 6 inch boning knife and bought this for smaller tasks. Though it is a small 4 inch blade, the handle is sized like a 6 inch knife so it is easy to grasp when your hands are wet or slippery. It easily cuts up a chicken. It's good for cutting peppers and cleaning the seeds from the insides. It's good for things that you're not going to do on a cutting board and makes a pretty good steak knife at the table too!Arrives incredibly sharp...wasn't careful and cut myself. Knife is as described but sharper than any other knives I have ever purchased.
