JAPANESE FUGITORA LONG SUSHI SASHIMI CHEF KNIFE (japan import)

I have never purchased a sashimi knife. I did not want to start out with a $200 knife, until "working in" a cheaper one, to hone skills. It is a great price, and VERY sharp. I've used it a few times when making sushi at home, and there is an amazing difference in the precision this knife gives.

Best knife I have ever held. It came very sharp, and safely packaged. The knife is perfectly balanced in weight between the handle and blade. This knife will last a long time. If I could only find other styles of Fugitora now!!

i received the knife 2 days right after i oredered it!(what a very fast shipping!!), i mainly using this knife for multi task at the sushi bar where i work. the toughest task that ive done with this knife was cutting the conch, and this knife handle it nicely. just any other knifes you will need to resharpen it before the first time use to get the very best of it. well atleast thats what i would do to all of my knifes. for the price, this knife is really a steal! im happy with it.
