Alpha Two Function Knife - 7" Cleaver

I was really hoping this cleaver would work for me; the handle is very comfortable, the weight not *too* heavy, and easy on the budget. I know you usually get what you pay for but I've had occasional luck with a knife or two under $20 and gave this a try. The edge straight out of the box was very "soft", and did not feel much different than a common table knife. The box states "two functions" of cut and cleave so I first tried cutting through a well thawed chicken quarter and it could not make it through with a good amount of pressure. When I tried using it as a cleaver it left a deep indent in the chicken but did not cut entirely through.

Very good price and very good product.The material very good very hard and sharp you can use it to cut meat and even chop bones. Highly recommand!
