J.A. Henckels International Fine Edge Pro 5-Inch Stainless-Steel Utility Knife

An inexpensive utility knife suitable for light cutting jobs. I have used it to cut meats, poultry, vegetables, and fruits. The blade is quite thin, so it's easy to hone and sharpen. It holds an edge quite well. Great sidekick to a sturdy chef's knife; when you don't want to pull out the larger knives, and the parer is just too small.

I bought a few of these knives to use for paring or general purposes. They are nice and sharp. Obviously they aren't as nice as professional chef knives in the Henckels line, but they are good enough for me.

It's a knife. It cuts well. It was a good price. I'm not really sure what else I need to say. I just wanted to replace the old one I had. I broke the tip off doing something stupid probably. Who knows? trying to pry a quarter out from a bottle opener or something. Anyway, it does what it does well. Those strawberries never stood a chance.

I liked this knife due to its ease of sharpening and its flexibility. However, a friend came over and bent the tip of the knife, which I have not had success fixing. I will end up buying another. I just wish there was a medium between flexibility and durability.
