Zwilling J.A. Henckels Twin Pure Cheese Slicer

After years of struggling with poor quality slicers, I was afforded the opportunity to purchase and use one that is manufactered by the celebrated Zwilling J.A. Henckles Co. As I had anticipated, the performance was second to none and far superior to the slicer I had been using. As whole block cheese is less expensive than pre-sliced cheese, this product will soon pay for itself.

This cheese slicer effortlessly slices cheese in a reasonable thickness (it does not, however, shave it, as it sounded another reviewer was hoping for). I bought this slicer after being mildly dissatisfied with an old one (that had a harder time achieving even slices, and sliced a bit too thinly for the slices to stay easily intact).

This is one of those items you use at a friend's house and think "I should get one of these." Well, we did, and we couldn't be happier. If you buy a large block of cheese, using this tool is fantastic for scraping off wonderfully thin pieces at a time. Excellent for parties as well. Super glad we bought this.

Attractive metal with pleasantly graspible handle. Works well. If the blade as a bit sharper I'd give it five stars.
