I have the Ginkgo Norse silverware set but my butter knives can be really limited. I have seperate steak knives but these looked interesting so I got them to go with my set. My husband prefers these to both our steak knives, and all of our butter knives. They are versital and work for pretty much any meal we eat. I am exited to buy more of these -I may be able to do some Spring CLeaning now, and get rid of stuff we don't use so often.I am soooo glad I found my exact set. We love these because they are heavy, sturdy, and easy to use and clean. Some silverware can bend pretty easily if you are set against a hard icecream or steak or whatever but we have never had any issues with the Ginkgo Norse ware because they are super strong. I hope they never discontinue the sets.
