I know this knife is listed as a "cleaver", and it does have the characteristic cleaver heft and strength, but it cuts so well and is so balanced, I find myself using it for lots of other tasks. It slices paper thin vegetables, and can carve a roast sooo perfectly! The balance of this knife is perfect for me. Try it! It may become your favorite too!
