I bought these for my son who is having to go through chemo treaments and could not use metal flatware. These worked great, they are stronger than plastic and you can reuse them.

It was cool to have at first in the office instead of wasting the plastic utensils in the office. The problem is the knive's teeth are a pain to clean and the fork starts to splinter after a few weeks. I've thrown away the forks and knives already. I still use the spoons now and again, but if you're looking for a long term sustainable solution, metal is still king.

I used the Bamboo flatware for about three months but reverted back to stainless; the bamboo was lacking in so many ways.If I cut something I had a feeling that the bamboo would brake off into what I was eating and you couldn't leave them in water to soak.In general they were not a good replacement product for general use.
