CAKE KNIFE/SERVER SET, SILVER PLATED.

I was looking all over for a cake knife and server set for my wedding. I didn't know if I could trust a photo of an item that was for sale online. Well I was not disappointed. This serving set is heavy duty and exactly what I hoped it would be. Plus, the free engraving on both items and the free shipping was a great added bonus!!

I bought these for my wedding. They are very well made and sturdy. They can fit a fancy occasion or a informal one. I like that they don't look like cheap metal or plastic cutters you see everywhere else. My only grip is that they tarnished easily. We didn't clean the set for four hours after we cut the cake, and there was a tarnish spot. I haven't used tarnish remover yet on it because it is so small. But even if it doesn't come off, its still something I like enough to keep. Also when I bought this from amazon, there is no engraving option just FYI.

The knife and server are lovely and seem to be of good quality. They are a little bigger and clunkier than I was expecting, but I'm still very happy with them. Also, both items are engraved -not just the serverwhich was a nice surprise.

the cake and knife server are very nice but I gave 2 stars because I am disappointed that they didn't contact me so that I can get them engraved for my upcoming wedding
