These are knives similar to the ones used at the Sub Sandwich shops. They are very sharp and have small serrations. They are great for removing the skin and slicing tomatoes. Really any vegetable peeling or slicing. They are cheap enough that after or if they get dull you can just toss them. While they easily slice bread they aren't very large. They are a little larger than a paring knife.
