By far the best steak knives I have ever had! For years we had the Wusthof Grand Prix II steak knives, which are fine knives. But the Steakhouse design is far superior because of a thinner, sharper blade. I'm sure the Steakhouse ones will require more care in sharpening because of the fluted blade, but they cut without pressure, keeping the juices in the meat. The straight part of the blade required a little touch up with a diamond hone right out of the box because of blade thinness. But WOW!
These knives are absolutely amazing. They are a little longer and thicker than a traditional steak knife. They are probably among the best steak knives made today. I would recommend these in a heartbeat. They are supposed to be exclusive to Williams-Sonoma and can also be found on their site for a much higher premium than seen on Amazon.
