Norpro Grip-EZ Cutting Board Scoop

I must not have read the product description close enough. The name of the item is "Grip-EZ" and the Product Features state: NONSLIP, soft grip handle and has raised sides. From all of this, I interpreted that the cutting board would "grip/be non-slip" on the work surface. It DOES NOT. To prevent the cutting board from slipping while you are cutting/chopping, you would need to place your own "non-slip" surface underneath. Very disappointing.

The "non-slip" feature does apply to the black handle portion of the cutting board. I would much rather have had the non-slip on the underside.

It's a little smaller than I had imagined. The "scoop" shape is a nice feature so that juices won't run off, etc. I'll keep it only for the scoop shape and the ability to easily transfer the chopped items into the cooking pot.
