KitchenAid 8 inch Slicing Knife Red

I have been using this knife for about 10 years now and it is still my favorite. It has a nice weight to it, it's well balanced, the handle is comfortable and non-slip, and it has a great edge that sharpens easily. I use this knife for everything. I have a few other more expensive knives and they just sit in the drawer because this one is superior.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but this knife has a really long blade. It is great for slicing my homemade bread, since it can be moved back and forth thru the loaf. It holds an edge very well. I have been using it since September of last year and after an initial sharpening, I have only passed it over my steel a couple of times. Great knife.
