I purchased this cutting board as an Amazon "scratch and dent" model that was missing its original packaging. The item arrived packed in the normal Amazon shipping box and was surrounded by plastic. The board itself is beautiful and I have been using it for the past several weeks. It has not warped or cracked or had any other issues. I have been coating it with mineral oil on a weekly (more or less) basis. I suspect this board will last for many years.Stop eating petroleum. Buy sustainable. Buy American.
