ALPHA Heavy Duty Meat Cleaver - 9" Cleaver, Stainless Blade

This is a great cleaver. It is very inexpensive but you get a lot for the cost. The cleaver is heavy and easy to work with. It's large size makes it great for getting the job done. I have seen cleavers for many times the price that I didn't think were nearly as good as this one. Overall, I would highly recommend it even against the expensive cleavers.

Nice and heavy. Bigger than available in stores. We are so happy with it. Came quick too. A great buy.

this item, available directly from amazon, arrived fairly quickly but not adequately padded to protect it from rough transit.

despite the fact that it was in a seemingly never-opened blister package, quality of the cleaver was very poor: the blade had a number of smudges and scratches and even one small rust spot.

so back it went to amazon for a credit.
