I had gone to Neiman Marcus to see this flatware and hold it in my hand and feel the weight before I committed to buying it. It seemed really stylish and substantial with well-cut designs. I figured the price was justified since it was made in Italy. Then the box arrived. They are made in China. Guess I should have asked to look at the shipping box while I was at Neiman Marcus.
