This is the Shun Classic 9" Slicer. Shun makes high quality knives, but you pay for it. Although very popular as Japanese Kitchen knives, these are really western-styled to market to the US in my opinion. They are very sharp out of the box, The damascus construction is stunning looking, which accounts for a great part of their appeal. Four stars only because the premium price diminishes the value. There are great and better performing similar forged clad Japanese kitchen knives for under $100 if you look around and do some research.Save 34% Off
