I have a full set of these knives and they are the best knives I've used. They stay sharp, and you need the sharpener too. Bought this set for my Mom, and she is amazed at the balance and heft they have, and was astounded at how easily she cut up a butternut squash (hard). Buying a set for my son next

I received these knives over 8 years ago as a gift and over the years I have worn out the metal end and broke the tip of the middle knife by using it to open something I shouldnt have done...I love the fact the middle serated one is still sharp and I can sharpen the other two with the sharpener...(this is needed). I am here to buy a set as a wedding gift since even with the wear of mine I still use them EVERYDAY.
