This is an invaluable tool. I already had two for my kitchen & needed one for our RV. It is wider than a knife so sandwich dressings don't fall off before you cn get it on your bread. You can dip a big gloob of dressing & spread it so easily. It has a serrated edge & is strong enough that it doesn't bend when cutting the sandwich. I wouldn't be without it.

Excellent for making a peanut butter sandwich. You can also use it to slice lunch meat or cheese to fit the bread.

Although I wish the handle was a bit more ergonomic this is a good product and I would buy it again. I purchased this as well as the Wustoff product which was more money. I liked the feel of the Wustoff better, however, the Lamson & Sharp was dishwasher safe, and the Wustoff rusted. Do not put the Wustoff in the dishwasher even though they say you can.
