Within four months the rivets had corroded in all of the knives but I decided to live with it. After 10 months one side of the handle separated from the rivets in one of the knives and it just fell apart. I am sending the whole set back to Henckels immediately.UPDATE:
Henckels sent me a new set of knives just like the ones I had. I have had them more than 6 months and they have not corroded. If another one breaks, Henckels will replace it. Apparently I am unable to increase the number of stars so I'll just say here that I now give them 5 stars. These knives are great for steak. They are sharper than any steak knife I have ever used.

The best set of steak kinves we have ever owned. Exceptionally well made, good feel, and keeps a sharp edge for years. Highly recommended. I'm about to buy more of them as my wife uses them for everything.I ordered a set of these knives more than a year ago when they were offered for less than $30. We use them daily, they remain extremely sharp, look and feel wonderful, and are a pleasure to use. I have been washing them regularly in the dishwasher and have not noticed any damage or discoloration to them. I wanted to buy a second set but they were always approx. $50-$60.
