Wusthof 8-in. Classic Panini Knife.

For most people this would be a good all around kitchen knife, however had I not been able to get this knife for $69 I would not have purchased it. Even at that price you are paying mostly for the name. The knife functions well other than cutting through that tough layer between fat and muscle on meat. The level of workmanship is good and the design functional.

For me, personally, I just didn't like it's feel so I gave it to a friend that that sort of thing was not important.

This knife is awesome. I use it to cut bagels and rolls and to slice tomato's. I also use it to slice sandwiches of all types. I recently tried it cutting a block of parmesan cheese. It makes short work of every task I have used it for. Just another testament to the quality of Wusthof products. Highly recommended.
