Was completely pleased with the fast shipment and quality of this product. Feels great and heavy/sturdy when you hold it and is beautifully crafted. Would recommend as an awesome wedding shower gift. This was ordered and given as a wedding shower gift. The couple used to cut their wedding cake. They now have the set to use for special occassions and know that it was part of their wedding day!

The knife and server were offensively big and ostentatious. Not at all in line with the fine style of Nambe.

I actually would like to return this item, if it's not too late.

This is the second set I have purchased. The quality, size, weight and balance of these utensils is outstanding and the photos here do not do them justice. I give these as a new baby gift. Along with a little poem that I personally write for the new-born baby, I have the knife engraved with the baby's full name and birthdate. As the poem suggests, this beautiful non-traditional gift sets a tradition of being used on every birthday cake in the baby's life. When the baby is grown and marries, the server is engraved with the name of the new bride or groom-to-be and the date of the wedding.

I searched for a long time to find a knife and server that was good enough to become a tradition in a baby's life and this one is absolutely perfect! It helps to get another friend or family member to "go in" on the gift and they are always thrilled to be a part of starting such a wonderful tradition. Thank you Nambe and Amazon! Wish I could afford a set for me!
