I didn't expect much from this set because of the deep "discount" (I think I paid 30 something). Because it was so cheap, I thought the retail price might be a figment of the imagination (or wishful thinking) on the part of the seller. And after using the knives, I really can't imagine anyone paying $100 for this junk. I had low expectations and the knives failed to even meet these.

After a short couple days of light use the knives already had started to feel dull, after a week the edges had multiple chips. I don't have high hopes that these knives will useful for much longer than a few months. Please understand that I have followed all care instructions (hand washing, no cutting hard foods, storing separately, etc.) and they are still not holding up.

Save your money. I could have bought one good knife, instead of this set of junk, for the same price. Oh well, live and learn. Now you don't have to make the same mistake.

Super sharp! Love the color. You have to be really careful slicing things but it works really well. As far as I know, if you follow the instructions it doesn't break/chip, differences in quality with ceramic knives has to do with sharpness, not how brittle it is. Love my set, definitely would buy as a great housewarming gift.
