These Wusthof Classic Ikon knives are a great, if a bit expensive, product. They are my daughter's favorite kitchen knives, and there is a wide selection of styles to fit your needs.

This is the third knife in this product line we've acquired for her. They stay sharp, fit her hand well, and I can see that the quality means they are likely to last her lifetime. Since they are likely to last so long, making later replacement purchases unlikely, perhaps the initial cost isn't as high as it might seem.

And, she cooks for a husband and five children, besides herself. From my and my daughter's experience, I don't think you'll be sorry you bought these.
