After 45 years of making do with cheaper knives, I finally bought a set of Wenger forged knives. I spent some time researching the pro's and con's of a wide range on chef's knives and started with the smallest two in the range. Very impressive! So, after the tick of approval from my wife, I decided to buy the full set and the cheapest price by far was from Amazon. The knives have a solid feel to them and they retain a keen edge. I loaned them to a friend who is a chef to try out and he was very happy with them.
