Rada Cutlery Carver Boner Knife, Made in USA

Good sharp blade, which I keep sharp using the rada sharpener. I use it mostly to break down chickens, and it works great for that, it is lightweight and flexible and strong enough to do the job. It has not plastic parts so I know when it finally breaks in two pieces (in about a hundred years?) no bits of plastic will be lying around polluting the environment. Not good for peeling/cutting watermelons, but good for soft shelled fruits and vegetables (cantaloupes, chilis, etc).

My son sells Cutco so he had a few choice words for me when he knew I bought these for a friend. I couldnt afford to buy another whole set. I have Cutco and I know they are the best. But the Rada's are more affordable and my friend needed a nice set. So, these will have to suffice. Good quality for the money.

I really like the Rada line of knives. I use this knife all the time. It is particularly good to slice tomatoes since it is so sharp. The only thing I would change about the knives is the material for the handle. I've gotten used to the feel of the brushed aluminum, but I would prefer something much smoother.

These knives were for my Dad for Christmas, and he loves them. My husband loves the ones he just received. The knives are extremely sharp, so be very careful, never need to sharpen.
