I'm still using Wusthof knives I bought in 1974. They stay sharp for a long time and are easy to resharpen when necessary. Be sure to hand wash these knives with the wooden handles. It's best to hand wash any good knife anyway.
Super knifeunfortunately, it was the wrong size and returned for a smaller version. Otherwise, the gift was appreciated and the replacement even more so.
