Update....wow! When I bought the set, in 2009, it was almost eight dollars cheaper.

Been buying these prep boards for years now and usually have been quite satisfied. However, over time, they are going to stain. Be aware that no amount of soaking, dishwashing, washing by hand, using every available recommended product on them is going to remove the stains. They will need to be replaced eventually. Also, they do get ruts in them over time from knife cuts. The biggest issue for me is that the small circles underneath used to be rubber and would stay on the counter while in use. Not anymore. Now they are plastic and do not adhere to any surface without using a damp towel underneath.
Is it the end of the world? NO, but sure do wish that info had been stated prior to purchase. Sadly, this will be my last set because of that and also because there is just far too much plastic in use in the world today and now have begun to use bamboo cutting boards which are fantastic!

These are my favorite cutting boards because they are sturdy, have a slight lip to catch liquids from what you are cutting, and are easy to throw into the dishwasher. They also are nice serving boards, when needed. I've tried lots of others and always go back to these boards.I can do the commercial for these. I got my first set in 1985 as a wedding present. I have been buying them for gifts and for replacements for 27 years. Sometimes they are hard to find. The sizes are great. Can be bleached, and dishwasher safe. When they get really cruddy, use them outside to hold the overflow from repotting plants, as well as many other uses. WE LOVE THEM!
